For much of my career, I focused on advancing and growing my earnings, commuting three hours a day, and prioritizing success over purpose. On the surface, I had it all – a high-profile job and financial stability. But I was on autopilot, following a career path without stopping to consider if there was an alternative. I worked hard and provided for my family – but deep down I didn’t feel fulfilled.

In 2016, a massive widowmaker heart attack forced me to confront some uncomfortable truths. As I recovered, I asked myself why I had survived. Should I return to the same job, or was there something more for me out there?

During my recovery, I began writing, speaking, and podcasting, sharing my story in the hopes that it would help others. The more I connected with people, the more I realized many professionals, like me, were stuck. They sought more meaning through their work but felt unsure how to make a change without losing everything they’d worked for.

It seemed to me that many people were surrendering to the status quo, even if it no longer served them.

It became clear that I could not go back to my former career. I wanted to do more than just share my story – I wanted to create a solution and help others find more satisfaction and joy in their lives. Without a roadmap or much community support, I decided to pivot my career into something entirely new, from financial services to career transformation.

In 2024, I launched MORE to offer what I wish I’d had: a supportive community, dedicated guidance, and a clear path forward. MORE isn’t just career coaching – it’s a place for professionals at a crossroads to discover what matters most and take bold steps toward fulfillment. Whether pivoting careers, launching ventures, or finding new purpose in a current role, MORE provides the clarity and resources to help them succeed.
